Food for Hungry Minds aims to provide underprivileged children from poor communities in the Philippines with a strong, holistic, and bilingual education to help them reach their highest potential, support their own families, and become productive citizens and competent leaders.
The Hungry Minds program focuses on each child’s complete growth and development. Thus, it is committed to meeting the children’s basic needs such as food, books and school supplies, learning aids, transportation to and from school, basic medical health care, and support activities such as tutorial sessions.
We are a non-profit organization that is duly registered at the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and an accredited NGO of the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). We also have 501(c)(3) status in the United States.
Our primary beneficiaries are children from poor families in depressed communities of Pandacan, Paco, San Andres, Sta.Ana, and Leveriza in Manila and the resettlement area of Bangkal and nearby communities in Mabolo and Sto.Rosario in Malolos, Bulacan.
Hungry Minds currently has two established school sites in Pasay City and Bulacan.
